I have spent a lovely afternoon watching our local cricket team. My son made the first team π

I wish my photography skills were better π€
And I am a very proud mum. He got FIVE wickets and a catch π€
Certainly worth putting the knitting down.
Woolly wishes,

Ohh that looks like a lovely afternoon! Itβs one of my life goals to watch a live cricket match – I live in America so theyβre a little harder to find. But I got really into cricket when I was in India for work in 2014

It was lovely, although my interest was my son playingπ and it makes a huge difference when the weather is good π

I had a lot of students from India when I was teaching middle school English learners, and they knew all about cricket. Being in the US, Iβve never seen an actual cricket match. Congratulations to your son for making the team! It sounds like fun. π

Thank you. I have to admit I don’t understand many of the rules and my only interest is when my son plays π

Wow – many congratulations to him. We are big cricket fans and have been to New Road many times, down your way I think. They serve fabulous cakes there. π
