Tackling floods and snow ☃☔
We brought everything up from the bottom of the garden because of the flooding.
Pictures taken from my lounge window. I have walked to the petrol station this morning to get a loaf of bread, not what we would normally eat but Bewdley bridge is currently closed to traffic and pedestrians. Beggars can’t be choosers!!!

Staying in for the rest of the day now as we are expecting more snow. Some of my neighbours houses are flooded and they have moved upstairs so I hope it doesn’t freeze ⛄

WOW! Lots of snow! Where we live (in Michigan) it’s very cold & snowy in the winter (usually). This year we’ve been fortunate to only get small dustings of snow . . . but that will change. Supposed to get 1-2 inches today/tomorrow. That’s not bad – we’ve had much worse. When it gets bad I just want to curl up with something warm to drink, a throw over my feet & my knitting! Stay warm & healthy!!!

Oh my. In 2018 my town flooded and we lost so much stuff. It was horrible.

Me and my family are safe as we are quite high up but neighbours just round the corner have only just had their houses sorted after they flooded last February 😥

The river is slowly subsiding, although the bridge is still closed. Once the river goes down completely the big cleanup starts, again! 😕

Yes, it’s lovely to look at from the comfort of a warm room. But the kids had great fun later in the day sledging and making snow men ⛄
