A holey bag in one…
I have been dabbling in crochet this year trying to learn new skills and techniques. I have also been drawn towards storeage ideas. Useful makes!!
A couple of years ago when I was dabbling with macrame I made a market bag but it wasn’t very satisfactory! I ended up using it as a gift bag for a bottle of wine 🍷

But I have been dabbling and produced this little market bag out of 100g of baby yarn from the stash. I haven’t even sewn in the two ends before using it😉 It now holds some organic cotton yarn ready to make another one… I was quite pleased with my practice effort, so using my notes I hope to be able to reproduce it in sage and cream. Fingers crossed.

Still plodding on with my nephew’s cable knit.
Woolly wishes,
Jane ♡♡♡
Really LIKE your macrame/bag works – NICE JOB! (I did macrame back in the late ’70s – mostly jewelry). Like the baby blue color on the second bag!

Thank you Pammie. How strange macrame is always associated with the 1970s 🤔 but it is so very pretty when done correctly.

I knit a market bag out of pink cotton. It was such a great pattern. I totally underestimated how much the pattern gives when items are put in it. It looks somewhat modest in size at first but it really holds a ton! I like the ends hanging out, Jane. It says “hand made”!
