Not doing very well π
Back in January I made a few lists of things I intended to get done in 2020 and all of my intentions were craft related. And so far I am quite pleased with my progress – I am plodding along quite nicely!
I decided back at the time that I was not going to set up myself up to fail by proposing weight loss or lots of exercise. So I have done very little in my free time other than woolly pursuits π
Now that the days are getting longer I am planning my walking regime and to get back in the garden – but not today as it is horribly windy out thereπ¬π¬π¬
And I really need to be doing something as my stash busting has hit a snag!!! Aldi have had a craft event, I thought I would pop in and just have a look! I came out with a bag full…. I have picked up a couple of kits and more yarn. The stash has grown! And I have added something else to the WIP list π€
Lost in woolliness?
Woolly wishes,

lovely yarn colours! I saw some very similar, but only 50g cakes in our local ACTION shop the other day, but resisted temptation . . . although now I see how yours is knitting up . . . lol

When you say Aldi what store do you mean? The only Aldi I know is a grocery store chain.

Not totally lost, but easily distracted. Kinda like my doggo when we go for a walk. The cowl looks so pretty.

I’ve knitted my cowl as far as the button holes and lost the pattern …… can anyone help please ?

Hi Maureen, if it’s the Aldi buttoned cowl there aren’t any buttonholes. Ends are sewn together and buttons put on for show. Perhaps you adapted pattern?

Love the colours of this. Those Aldi/Lidl craft events are soo tempting. Iβm trying to confine yarn purchases to project specific and or natural fibres only which is working quite well so far.

We all fall off the wagon now and then! It’s OK. Love the cables and moss stitch.

Thank you. I am not too guilt ridden, I have resigned myself to this happening from time to time π

Iβm off to Unravel Yarn Fest soon so I have a feeling Iβll fall off the yarn stash bandwagon as well! But if you get enjoyment from the new Yarn – itβs definitely worth buying it π

Thank you, I am already pretty guilt free and no doubt I will be making more unscheduled purchases in the future, just not too soon I hope π

It doesn’t look like it’s going to sit as stash yarn, anyway – it’s not adding to stash if it goes on needles immediately, is it? My next project is using someone else’s stash, for them, so I won’t be knitting down stash either!

Hadn’t thought if it like that β€
How good are you working on someone else’s stash πΌ
Happy knitting xx

Not a problem on a cold frosty day but it has been so wet this winter β

My daughter’s boyfriend went in there, so now I’m getting wool for mother’s Day next month.

I love to see people knitting. When I was a kid, my mom used to knit all her day in. It’s her private time, I loved to see her smile and I loved to see the colors she combined. But, mom getting old. She no longer knit as she’s tired. Can;t wait to see yours finished. Lots of love β€

I was taught to knit by my grandmother. She is no longer with us but I always think of my grandparents when knitting β€
