Baby Guernsey finished 🎁
My sister is off to visit baby O on Tuesday so I have had to finish the baby Guernsey that I have been on about for weeks…
I love the therapeutic action of knitting and keeping to a pattern but hate the tedium of blocking and sewing up so have a nasty habit of just leaving it 🤔🤔🤔
So will brave the weather 🌪☔🌪 and pop it round later.
Woolly wishes,
Jane ♡♡♡
lovely little sweater!
I too enjoy the actual knitting/crocheting, but not the sewing together. I find that the hardest part and tend to procrastinate.

Such a sweet sweater, and one that can be treasured for years.

Thank you but with regards to treasuring it I think it depends on the colour of the baby puke 😄

Lovely little sweater. One day I will make myself a Guernsey, I’m sure. I started one for my dad when I was in my 20s and I never finished it!

Thank you and I look forward to hearing about the trials and tribulations of making your Guernsey when you get started ❤

This is beautiful! I also hate blocking (avoid if I can) and sewing up (discovering sweaters knitted in the round was a revelation!)

I don’t think I know anyone who enjoys the sewing up bit!
