Taking a break from the needles…
On Tuesday night my neighbour and I helped to feed the local river bird population. And my are they a greedy lotš
The man who normally does it was unable to do any lifting and as they eat a big sack of seed that was a problem š¤ No one wants to see hungry ducks!!! So we trollied the sack to the river and got on with feeding them.
A great way to spend a summer evening. Not sure as I would fancy it in the winter though!

That looks like great fun and I imagine very satisfying. I hope they all behaved themselve? I am sure the ducks, swans and geese on the river really appreciate it – any any spectators you might have had. š

There was quite a crowd. I think some of them were hoping we might fall in. Those steps are quite dicey š„

Okay Jane, is it an optical illusion or were you precariously close to the edge of that step that looks like it leads down to the water? š¬

The public are not normally allowed on those steps as they are so old and uneven but yes a bit too close to the water for my liking š
