I really need to get out more ๐
Still on the look out for the inspiration for my next big project. In the meantime I have been making more cosies for old jam and pickle jars.
Though I say it myself I am quite pleased with these. Super chunky yarn on chunky needles worked in garter stitch. You may recognise the yarn from the toy basket I made a couple of months ago.
So great way of using up old bits of yarn and I should have the tidiest desk in town with all of the desk tidies I have been making but sadly it just looks cluttered with desk tidies ๐
Anyway I have decided I need something to get my teeth (or needles) into so I am going to start a blanket for Lucia the camper. I’ve got a bag of little balls of DK that was free with magazines so I’m going to use that up. It will be a real mishmash of colours but it will be a great stash buster ๐
Woolly wishes,

Thank you so much. With regards to the garden it’s a bit over grown at the moment so I always tend to use this spot for my pics as it’s tidier than the rest ๐

Scap blankets are the best!! I’m really curious how that one will go! Will you use a pattern or just freestyle it?

It will definitely be free styling with what I have got to hand ๐

When I first saw the cozies this time I thought they were crochet (sideways). I have a ton of bulky yarn. But it’s even thicker than this. I bet the blanket will be pretty!

The joy of bulky yarn is it knits up so quickly ๐คฃ
Currently trying out different crochet technics to see which I like best for a blanket โค๏ธ

These look great and so easy to do. Are you selling them in the local craft shop?

I’ve got a couple in there to see how they go. Thank you ๐

Thank you Claire. It’s not everyone who wants to keep old jam jars warm ๐

It’s win, win. ๐ Cosies keep jam jars warm and the jam jars also become attractive accessories for the house and garden. ๐
