STASH-BUSTING #22

It’s all in the bag…

Still working on my string bags, they seem to be quite popular in the shop šŸ˜‰

I’ve also made a little basket bag. It’s double crochet using Lily sugar ‘n cream and finished off with a knitted flower and a dirty great button. Room for purse, phone, lippy, tissues and hand sanitizer – what’s not to like šŸ˜„

We’re having a wet weekend I hope you are fairing better?

Woolly wishes,

  1. I was always a little sceptical of market bags, until the year before last(?) when I finally knit first one, and then another one. I think they are absolutely splendid, especially for buying fruit and veggies! The first one has been given to my grandparents who were thrilled about it and we have the other one kicking around somewhere (Philipp wasn’t too fond of using them during the pandemic but we’ll see. šŸ˜‰ ). The market bag with the flower is so cool! did you test how much it holds?

    1. Market bags are great because there’s always a bit of give šŸ˜‰
The flowery bag just holds essentials plus hand sanitizer because let’s face it we can’t go anywhere without it at the moment šŸ˜„

  2. Love it! Love how it is both crochet and knit too! šŸ™‚Congratulations on selling things at the market! Today it is humid and yucky. I wouldn’t mind your rain. šŸ˜…

    1. Thank you. Always gives me a buzz when someone will pay for something I have made 😊
Humidity is a killer so I won’t mind about our rain ā˜”ā˜”ā˜”
