Fingers crossed that this is the first of many ..

As I have already said friends and family gifted me some very mindful gifts for Christmas 🎄

And as I have already said I received a sampler from Aldi

So so far I have done : quite a few French knots; satin stitch; stem stitch; back stitch and blanket stitch.

This takes me back forty years and I have to say I am enjoying the memories of working on printed linen.

Very nice! (reminds me of many years ago when working with a homeschool group I ended up teaching knitting/crochet/embroidery).

How fun! In the 70s we put embroidery on practically everything! My favorites were the blue work shirts everybody had. And of course you had to have it all over your jeans! 🌸🌻🌺🌷

  I remember having flared jeans with daisies embroidered on the flare. I thought I was very cool 🤣
