Yarn from the stash was found on the stairs this morning!
The pom pom on my hat has been attacked!
Surely he can’t be the culprit?
Off to attempt trimming my pom pom to even it up or if worse comes to worse see if I’ve something in the stash that will match to make a new one!!!

Pom pom joy…
My back is starting to feel a bit more like it so I have managed to start knitting again in short bursts. The Christmas knitting will be late this year but as the government cancelled Christmas yesterday I don’t suppose it will make too much difference 😥
I have had a lovely afternoon watching the Royal Ballet The Nutcracker on an arts channel – Christmas starts with the Nutcracker. While watching the ballet I have been having fun making pom poms!
Not sure if I can rescue this one though, don’t think there will be much left if I start trimming it!
Hopefully my posts will be less haphazard now I am more mobile.

It’s raining, it’s pouring, the old man is snoring …
Well my old man snores a lot!!!
So very rainy yesterday. No Ashes (yippee!), sadly it is back on today. The old man has stopped snoring 😅
Spent most of yesterday with a young man who was very reluctant to go outside in the rain so we made pom poms – as you do!
Also a funny little rabbit that will need a string to hang it from. Might hang it in the garden to ward off evil bugs 🐌🐌🐌
Only managed a mile yesterday due to the appalling weather 🤐
A couple of miles today. Just had to get out of the house AND AWAY FROM THE CRICKET!!
