STASH-BUSTING #15

Working my way through my lists…

I have baby gifts to make for February. A little boy who will be a couple of months old mid month when my sister goes to visit and I have been invited to a Baby Shower at the end of the month, the expected baby is a little girl.

I have started making a little Guernsey style jersey for the little boy (a very Channel Island inspired sentence).

Front and back done! One sleeve complete, the other on the way.

I am quite pleased because this is yarn from my stash. I am always picking up baby wool because you never know when you might need it but a little goes a long way when you are making cute little baby things.

Now I should be throwing a party using up some of my stash 🎈🎈🎈 but it was my birthday last week and those lovely people at Hobbycraft sent me a £5 voucher so I had to pop in to spend it. I bought a couple of balls of end of line aran wool which I will make some hats with for next year’s Christmas stall. My purchase came to £13 so their marketing ploy worked!!!

Progress on the Guernsey to follow…

  1. that’s some lovely knitting there!
I am planning on having a stash busting year of my own . . . deleting all promotional emails from my favourite crafting shops as they arrive, and not even daring to take a peek ^^

      1. I knitted the past year but I can’t make such intricate projects as yours because I only have a 4mm knitting needles ^-^ Knitting and crochet isn’t that popular here on our country ( -_-) But I’d try to buy myself knitting needles on my birthday plus yarns so that I could make my third proper project! Have a nice knitting day! ^-^
