Another winter walk

A very muddy walk yesterday but frosty and crisp today. Sadly the sheep wouldn’t come closer to the fence for a close up๐ค
The sheep are the only woolly things I am showing as I am still plodding on with the Christmas knitting and the recipients read this from time to time. But hopefully I will have something to show next weekend๐
Anyway back to my walk. Lovely crisp morning. As well as the usual swans, geese and ducks I saw a heron on the river bank. Sadly he flew away before I had taken my gloves off and got my phone out to take a photo. There was a bird of prey, a kestrel I think, near the sheep but he was camera shy๐

And then there were the cows and calves having breakfast. Very cute calves.

I think this one’s mum was checking he had been cleaning behind his ears ๐
Home now. Time for a nice cup of tea and do a bit of housework. Hope you all have a nice relaxing Sunday.
Woolly wishes,

Your photos are SO relaxing! I live very close to the city, so I don’t have those kinds of view. The best we can do is rabbits, squirrels and (very occasionally- maybe once a year) we have deer in our yard – very rare. Thank you for the lovely peaceful scenes!

I am glad you enjoyed them Pam. ๐

What a lovely walk and adorable calves and the sheep – who maybe will be producing lambs in the not too distant future? We have melting frozen snow with us. It is treacherous underfoot but adds to my step count as you have to walk like a penguin!

I love that winter shuffle we all do when it’s icy ๐ง๐ง๐ง

How fun to see sheep and cows so close to where you live ๐ Actually there are spots in Fresno where there are farm animals because besides being a city itโs in an agricultural area. ๐๐๐

Bewdley is a very small town surrounded by countryside so we are very luck ๐
