GIVE A GIRL SOME FROGGED YARN…

and she’ll start knitting 🧶

The other day I was frogging a little something that I nearly finished 40 years ago. Some might ask why didn’t you finish it? Well I’m a touch bigger than I was 40 years ago and, frankly, the sleeves were very inpractical!

But the yarn won’t be wasted! I have started knitting childrens’ hats for Knit and Natter. And the beauty of this tale is the hats are being made using the same pattern book šŸ˜„ although I might add a pom pom šŸ˜‰

Moffat Weavers of Scotland

Plenty of frogged yarn so I should get to make lots of woolly hats.

Woolly wishes,

  1. Love the cabled hat, I’m a cable fanatic and love knitting them when I get the chance, cables are relaxing to knit. I love lace, but it’s not relaxing, fun but not relaxing :P. I have found a ton of cabled hats on Etsy, I probably have more patterns than I could knit in a life time, to go along with the fiber for spinning I’ve accumulated that is S.A.B.L.E (stash acquired beyond life expectancy) šŸ˜€

      1. Start with a easy lace pattern like the fan and feather, it’s just a 4 row pattern with one row of yo’s :). That one is very easy to follow and memorize.
