Sticky needles 😡
Not much progress on the stash bag. It has been far too hot to wrestle with wool and needles so they have been cast aside for the last week or so. However, the weather broke yesterday so we had a joyous reunion!
Neglected olive hiding another scarf…
So I finished another scarf last night, just so that I could feel that buzz from having finished something. 😃
Current WIPs:
- Fingerless mittens x 2
- Bed / wellie socks
- Baby blanket
- Baby booties
And that is just what I have dug out plus I have loads of cheap and cheerful yarn that I have done absolutely nothing with. 🤑 I seem to have an awful lot of baby wool – all those good intentions that never materialised…
So back to working my way through it all…
Since you liked my blog, I visited yours and now follow you. We seem to have a lot in common 🙂 I am like you in that I like to feel that buzz from a finished object. And I’m trying to stash down my acrylics this year. Are you on Ravelry?

Hi Nicola, Thank you. I am not on Ravelry but lots of the people I follow keep mentioning it so I really must investigate 😊

Like you, I laid down my needles for a while…well sort of! I was away last week but took some knitting and knitted one sock and bought 400 grams of Indie dyed yarn to add to my stash or possibly to give as part of woolswap. I’m now back home and it’s gradually cooled down enough to go back to my fairisle cardigan. Next on my list is to write some patterns as my fingerless gloves on Deramore’s are doing really well!

Your white scarf looks beautiful! I’ve got many years as well waiting to be used. I have various projects planned to knit and haven’t got the time l need yet, one day…

Thank you Ellie. It can be difficult knowing where to start when you have accumulated so much …
