Solo holidaying – the new me š§¶
At the beginning of the month I had the pleasure of attending the Stitchtopia Festival. And guess what I’ve come home with four unfinished projectsš±

I was quite late booking my place so my choice of workshops was limited.
I was really out of my comfort zone doing the falling leaves applique with Kim Suleman butĀ I enjoyed what I did and fully intend to finish the project ( the crafter’s mantra).
I pushed myself with the little crochet pin cushion designed by Emma Leith and I’m quite close to finishing this, so actually have no excuse.
The cable and beaded handwarmer is coming along but winter is a long way off! The cabling is right up my street, the beading is new and working on dpns feels wrong!
The entrelac sample is strangely addictive and that is the one I keep picking up inbetween frogging old projects and knitting little hats.
Both of the knitting projects are by Frederica Patmore.
So keeping busy, need to pull my finger out and get something finished.
Woolly wishes,
Jane ā”ā”ā”
Those all look really good! it’s so great to do something new. I’ve long
wondered about entrelac, but my stupid hands just won’t play. A bit of
crochet and maybe, just maybe, a baby jacket come the winter . . .
congratulations!

Thank you. Typical enthusiastic amateur I’m throwing myself into all things crafting š

Well, you know what? it’s worth trying. Even if it doesn’t work/you
don’t like it, you’ve tried, and maybe eliminated something you don’t like.
