A walk and a squalk….
Or rather a hiss!!!

I walked into Bewdley for some fresh air, exercise and some milk (I don’t even drink the stuff!) and I came across the goslings. I tried to get close enough for a picture of a scruffy but nonetheless cute gosling but sadly I incurred the wrath of the adults ๐ถ
Calming down with a cup of tea I am about to sew up the raglan parts of the cable knit for my nephew so that I can do the neck – yes still a little bit of knitting left. Apologies just this progress report, no photo.
Wishing you all a wonderful woolly weekend.
Woolly wishes,

Glad you survived the scolding of the geese! Have a nice, calm Sunday while finishing up the sweater! (Today I’m going to attempt to start another baby blanket – this one is more complicated – we’ll see how it goes). Do you ever find yourself ‘challenging’ your talents by trying new patterns that are a bit above what you would normally knit?
Anyway – have a great day! Pam

I regularly try knitting something that I really shouldn’t ๐ Lacy patterns are my downfall, they look so pretty on the pattern but mine are just a disaster! They make me as cross as a goose ๐

Always trying to push the limits – a project on the horizon is to go back and try again on a hat I failed to make come out like the photos of its lace. Don’t get me wrong – it looked great, and my sister is very happy with it, but I want to see if I can figure out where I went wrong.

It’s awful when you know where the mistakes are and everyone else is oblivious ๐

Eek! Looks like someone was not very happy with your curiosity, Great photo of the scolding. Hopefully your tea and knitting did the trick in calming your nerves.

I should have known better really and yes a cuppa always does the trick ๐

Oh, they can be cranky, especially if you get too close to the littles. I had a Toulouse that would nip at the knee caps if anyone got too close to me.

They do say they make better guard dogs than dogs if you know what I mean ๐

Oh, I do know what you mean. My Golden Retriever is only capable of licking people to death and that is only if he decides to get up off his back after belly rubs!

I know a few dogs like that ๐

Oh my, they are hilarious. I am sure Mr or Mrs Goose is very very cross with you, but they do look so comical. That’s not to reduce their ability to terrify you if you get too close. Now if it was a swan, I’d have been sprinting the other way.

I’d be with you if it was a swan xx
