SELF-HELP IN 2021 #4

A walk and a squalk….

Or rather a hiss!!!

A very cross goose!!!

I walked into Bewdley for some fresh air, exercise and some milk (I don’t even drink the stuff!) and I came across the goslings. I tried to get close enough for a picture of a scruffy but nonetheless cute gosling but sadly I incurred the wrath of the adults ๐Ÿ˜ถ

Calming down with a cup of tea I am about to sew up the raglan parts of the cable knit for my nephew so that I can do the neck – yes still a little bit of knitting left. Apologies just this progress report, no photo.

Wishing you all a wonderful woolly weekend.

Woolly wishes,

  1. Glad you survived the scolding of the geese! Have a nice, calm Sunday while finishing up the sweater! (Today I’m going to attempt to start another baby blanket – this one is more complicated – we’ll see how it goes). Do you ever find yourself ‘challenging’ your talents by trying new patterns that are a bit above what you would normally knit?
Anyway – have a great day! Pam

    1. I regularly try knitting something that I really shouldn’t ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Lacy patterns are my downfall, they look so pretty on the pattern but mine are just a disaster! They make me as cross as a goose ๐Ÿ˜‰

    2. Always trying to push the limits – a project on the horizon is to go back and try again on a hat I failed to make come out like the photos of its lace. Don’t get me wrong – it looked great, and my sister is very happy with it, but I want to see if I can figure out where I went wrong.

  2. Oh my, they are hilarious. I am sure Mr or Mrs Goose is very very cross with you, but they do look so comical. That’s not to reduce their ability to terrify you if you get too close. Now if it was a swan, I’d have been sprinting the other way.
