Having a tidy up 🕸🕸🕸
For the last few weeks I have been rummaging in corners and making piles for recycling, charity and to keep. I’m sure the lady at the local hospice donation centre thinks oh no not her again! It’s difficult to judge, after all one man’s rubbish can be another man’s treasure 🤔
I have also dug up a whole host of unfinished projects🤪 Me being me the knitting part is complete but no attempt has been made to start finishing and sewing up😥
I have sewn the following up, all found in a Christmas bag 😇

Quite a sense of achievement but sadly I think I will find more…
Woolly wishes,
Jane ♡♡♡
There IS a second sock, right? 😄 It is that time of year – I’ve been going through my stash as well, and am appalled how many WIP I’ve unburied. A half-finished pair of socks (magic loop), a doggy sweater, a wool sock hat … the list goes on. Sadly, it seems I’d rather spin more yarn than complete the knitting projects made from that yarn! 🧶

I’m ALWAYS more excited about spinning the yarn than knitting with it. Hands down. I enjoy knitting, but only learned because I was creating all these decorative baskets filled with lovely skeins of yarn … and my husband was starting to make comments about my maybe doing something more with them! 😂

I don’t think I know a knitter who enjoys the sewing up ^^

I don’t enjoy sewing up – if I can figure out a way to avoid it, I do – but I like finished things more than I dislike the finishing of them! Tomorrow I’ll sew in ends on the sweater that’s done, so I can block it; another finished project. I do have UFO/WIPs, usually because the inspiration behind them is no longer there, due to death or falling off the face of the earth…

Most of my WIPs are quilts, which haven’t been touched (except to put them in containers) in well ver 10 years!😂
